MK DONS U18s 1 COVENTRY CITY U18s 1
Tue 21 Feb 2006

The first half saw both sides play some attractive football, with chances at both ends.
The Dons went close after just two minutes when Jamie England crashed a volley from the edge of the area onto the crossbar, Joe Howe knocking the rebound just wide of the left hand post.
Coventry had a spell of pressure that the Dons did well to thwart prior to the 15-minute mark, and at the other end Engand fired a shot just over.
Sam Baldock, Howe and England then all had efforts saved by the keeper, and Ross Morley also had an effort kept out as the Dons finished the half strongly.
But keeper Ryan Flood had to make a brilliant save on 37 minutes to tip a header onto the crossbar as the sides went in level.
Flood stood up well to a couple of testing crosses just after the break as Coventry once again had a strong period.
The deadlock was broken on 75 minutes when a long ball found Sam Baldock, who got in between the Sky Blues defence to go in one-on-one and slot home.
Coventry immediately pressed, and Flood made a great one-on-one save on 80 minutes. But the leveller came on 84 minutes when a corner was punched clear by Flood, but only to the visiting midfielder who fired the rebound home from 10 yards.
Team: Flood, Howe, Kent, Murphy, Collins, Battams, Day, Morley, England, Baldock, Murray. Subs not used: Walker, Nash, Kelly, Koffi.
