DONS LIFT LEAGUE 2 TITLE
MK Dons lifted the League 2 championship in front of 17,250 supporters at stadiummk as the 2007/08 season came to a close.
It was party-time for players and fans as Football League Chairman Lord Mawhinney handed Keith Andrews the second part of an historic double after a 1-1 draw with Morecambe.
The Dons won the title by a five-point margin from second-placed Peterborough after Morecambe came back to claim a point when Michael Twiss's goal cancelled out Aaron Wilbraham's opener.
They then paraded the title around stadiummk along with the Johnstone's Paint Trophy won in March to the delight of their supporters.
