ALBY WINS APRIL AWARD
Dons striker Aaron Wilbraham has been named Powerade's League 2 Player of the Month for April.
The 28-year-old hitman beat Peterborough forward Craig Mackail-Smith, Hereford's Gary Hooper and Wycombe's Scott McGleish to the award after finishing the season in stunning form.
Alby's goal against Morecambe on Saturday was his seventh in his last six home games, a hot streak that has helped the Dons secure the League 2 title and the second-half of a league and cup Double.
Wilbraham hit three goals in the month as the Dons went unbeaten through April and confirmed their position as top dogs in League 2 - winning the championship by five points.
He becomes the third Dons player to win the Powerade award this season, after Lloyd Dyer's success in October and goalkeeper Willy Gueret's win for December.
Sheffield United's James Beattie picked up the Championship award while Leeds United's Dougie Freedman was the League 1 winner.
