Dean walked away from the 2005/6 season as the Dons supporters' player of the year as well as winning three gongs at the sponsors' player of the year awards - including player of the year and goal of the season for his stunning late strike against Bradford in February.
He is a hard-working left back, who was born in Kingston, Surrey in May 1984 and another who has graduated from the Dons Academy.
Following his excellent form in 2005/6, Dean was linked with a move away from Milton Keynes during the summer of 2006 but confirmed his commitment to the Dons by putting pen to paper on a one-year in mid-July.
Dean continues to be one of the Dons' most consistent performers with his steely determination and willingness to get forward. Has also emerged as a dangerous set-piece option.
