Paul Ince was quick to bring the experienced Scotland international upon his arrival in the summer.
Cameron trained with the club at the start of pre-season before signing a one-year deal on 1 August 2007. A midfield player of Premiership pedigree, Cameron has built a reputation as an energetic midfielder, a great link-up man and a scorer of important goals. Having started his career north of the border with Raith, he moved to Hearts where he caught the eye with 48 goals from 154 league games from midfield. A move to England beckoned and Wolves forked out £1.75m to make it happen. Cameron went on to win promotion to the Premiership with Wolves, in a spell that first saw him hook up with Ince as a player. Spells at Millwall and Coventry followed before he left the Ricoh Arena at the end of last season.
