Danny moved to Milton Keynes from Macclesfield early in the 2007/08 season to bolster Ince's central defensive options.
The Bolton-born, 6ft 3in defender came through Bury's youth set up and made 163 league appearances for the Shakers before moving to Moss Rose for £40,000 in 2005. Earmarked by Ince as a priority signing in the summer, he moved to the Dons for an undisclosed fee just before his new and old sides met at Moss Rose in the second game of the campaign. Physically dominant and a good reader of attacks, Swailes is also a threat in the opposition box as 18 league goals before his move to stadiummk will testify.
